About me

Khulud Sharif-Ali

Psychodynamic child and adolescent psychotherapist

As a psychodynamic child and adolescent psychotherapist, I offer discrimination-sensitive and transcultural psychotherapy for children, adolescents and young adults aged 3 to 21. Depending on age and needs, I also actively involve caregivers in the therapeutic process.

In a safe and non-judgmental setting, I support children and adolescents in coping with crises, understanding inner conflicts and growing in their personal development. Together with adolescents, I work out ways of dealing with the demands of puberty, school, finding their identity and social conflicts, and of strengthening their individual resources.

A particular focus of my work is a transcultural and discrimination-sensitive approach. I am committed to seeing and understanding people in their diversity. I aim to create a space where different lived realities, cultural backgrounds and social experiences have their place and are respectfully taken into account.

In addition, I work as a doctoral researcher and as a trainer in the field of anti-discrimination.
